Recently, Nanjing Better Metal Products Co., Ltd. completed the delivery and commissioning of the cold chain infrastructure upgrading project in Shaya County, Xinjiang. The company provided a full set of low-temperature dense storage rack systems and supporting intelligent warehousing equipment for the local 10,000-ton fresh food cold chain hub, facilitating the standardization and modernization of agricultural product cold chain logistics in southern Xinjiang.
Cold warehouses in Northwest China operate under harsh working conditions including large diurnal temperature difference, high air humidity, long-term low temperature and frequent forklift operations, which set strict requirements on steel toughness, anti-corrosion technology and structural stability of racks. Tailored for this project, Better adopted Q355B high-toughness low-temperature special steel and upgraded the double-layer electrostatic powder spraying technology with a salt spray resistance of over 800 hours. The system can operate stably at -25℃ and effectively avoid common industry problems such as low-temperature brittleness, condensation corrosion and structural deformation.
The project consists of low-temperature heavy-duty racks, shuttle-based dense storage systems and integrated steel platforms with more than 15,000 designed storage locations. Upon completion, it will become a demonstration base for agricultural product cold chain warehousing with the highest standard and intelligence level in southern Xinjiang.
With rich experience in R&D and manufacturing of cold chain warehousing equipment, Nanjing Better has served leading enterprises in dairy, fresh food supply chain and frozen food industries. Its low-temperature racks have been applied in an area of over 500,000 square meters across more than ten core cold chain hub cities nationwide. It is one of the few domestic professional manufacturers with one-stop capabilities in customization, production, installation and operation & maintenance for large-scale low-temperature warehousing projects.
